Preece Family Vaca

We had the opportunity during the first week in July, to spend time with Josh's family. Thank goodness heavenly father was looking out for us, because within two hours of leaving, our car started acting up and the O/D light started blinking like crazy. We took many stops to let our car rest, and somehow made it safely to Utah. While we were there, we had the transmission looked at, and turns out it needed to be rebuilt!! Awesome! We were without a car for the week and they ended up taking two weeks to fix it, so we had to drive my inlaws' expedition home.

We did have lots of wonderful moments even with the car problems. We spent a weekend in Heber at some cabins with all of josh's mom's extended family, lit a ton of fireworks for the fourth of july, and.....(see pics below)

Took family pictures
And no, this is not the best one we have...we are still waiting on the amazing photographer to work his magic.

Neither is this one!! goodness, be patient!! I will post the good ones later!!

Eating Cafe Rio!! OMG!! I miss this food already!! Yummo!!

Trying to get baby to sleep while looking fabulous!!

We spent a fun day at temple square....

And, no, Jayla was not in a bad mood in the picture. She was just terrified of Jesus!! Now this may sound bad, but I blame my husband for this one! I sat down to nurse a baby, and Josh went with the girls to see Jesus up close. He then told them that Jesus died and bad people didn't like him, and on and on. The next thing I know Jayla is coming over to me with terror in her eyes!! I think he gave her a little too much information for 4 year old to handle!! Sadee later told me that monsters killed Jesus!! Oh dear!!

Eating Mcdonalds! Love these faces!!

At Brigham Young's house!!

At the childrens' exhibit in the church history musuem!! So much fun and totally worth it. The kids will love every minute of it and there is something for kids of all ages to do.

We even spent a day with the cousins at wheeler farm. The kids all got a turn to feed the goats!! The funny part was my little nephew was given a otter pop for himself and then an apple for the goat. He decided to just eat both!!

Our quadruplets!! Everyone kept asking if these kids were twins!! We would of course reply, "yes, the boy and the girl in the hot pink are." Then people would reply back "no, I meant the other two blonde girls!" Oh, haha!! No, they are two years apart and yes, Jayla is ma petite belle!! Stop bringing it up!! She is going to get a complex or something!!

We had a wonderful time with cousins and family, and can't wait to see them all again. I forgot the SD card to my camera, so I am hoping I will get a few more pictures of our trip from my sisters-in-law!!

Mormon Battalion Center

If anyone lives in San Diego or ever comes to visit this wonderful place, i highly recommend visiting the mormon battalion center. It is such a fun experience and tour, and the kids loved it. These pictures are from way back in April but my inlaws took the pictures and finally gave me a copy.
Papa and his granddaughters
Sadee being a washer woman. She held that wooden thing for almost twenty minutes!!

Loading up Jayl so she can become a soldier!!

Think they have enough stuff yet....

Nope, Jayla needed a gun too!!

Favorite Part of our own Place...

A Backyard!!!

This may seem like a silly thing to some people, but it is a fabulous upgrade for us. Especially for ME!!! When we lived in Provo, we didn't have a backyard. When we were living with my parents, they only had a pool in their backyard. NOW....my girls can play outside whenever they want and I don't have to be outside with them at all times!! YEAH!!!

Eating snacks outside, enjoying the fun built-in benches!

Scary Story for you.....After we had lived in our new place for a few weeks, we had left our windows open one night to let some cool air in while we slept. Josh woke up about three AM, to the sound of glass breaking. He heard people shouting and making a lot of noise, and he thought it was our next door neighbors having a party. When he got up to close the window, he thought he saw the sun already up through the blinds. The "sun" turned out to be a fire at our next-door neighbors house. He woke me up and I flew out of bed. As I ran to the girls room, a girl came pounding on the door, and I opened it up, and she said "you need to start watering down your house with a hose." I told her I had to get my kids out, so she raced to the backyard. I grabbed the girls with no shoes in their pajamas, and then grabbed grayson out of bed, and we got out of the house. A police officer made sure we were out and said we were not allowed back in. I jumped in the car with the kids, and we drove to my parents. No point in waiting around there!

Josh stayed back to keep an eye on things, and to see if he could be of any help. Luckily, the firemen were able to get the fire under control and our house was not harmed. Our tree got a little burned and the fence got a little melted. As you can see from the pictures below.

The burned roof!

The family was able to get out of the house on time and nobody was injured. It was a very scary night and my girls would not stop talking about it. They would climb into bed at night, and say "When the fire truck comes to our house, wake us up and we will go to Nana's, Okay?" I am so grateful that our new place was not harmed and that our neighbors didn't lose their entire house.

Jayla's Preschool Graduation

Jayla is officially done with preschool. We had a fun graduation party with songs, spotlights, a slideshow, and of course lots of treats!! It was a fun evening, and the kids loved being the center of a attention.

The graduating class! We started the year with eight, but two of Jayla's friends, Max and Richie, moved away!

From left: Jordan, Michelle, Logan, Jenny, Boston and Jayla

Singing "A Happy Family" (Sadee helped Jayla practiced so she wanted in on the performance.)

The proud parents of our little graduate!!
She looks pretty proud too!!

Thanks to all the great moms who helped make this night a success. The kids loved all the attention and it was a wonderful night. Although, Sadee ended the evening by throwing up her treat, it at least cleared out the house.

Total Picture Overload!!

I know this is a lot of pictures, but we have so many random, cute moments and I don't have the time to do individual posts. So here is special moments in our lives since being on our own.

Mommy and her girls!! (No, I am not sunburned, I had just finished a soccer game!)

Future Soccer Players!!

What happens when mommy asks my sisters to keep me happy for a little while!! Toy Overload!!

Daddy and kids snuggle time!!!

Sadee has a serious obsession with these boots!! Someone asked me one day if I ever got a picture of her wearing them as proof of her need to wear them in 80 degree weather!!
I decided to get two pictures, both in skirts and short-sleeve shirts!!
Oh, how we love our brother, and always want to hold him!!! Too bad he doesn't quite feel the same way yet!!

Came home from the store one day and Josh was working in the garage. When I asked Sadee where Grayson was, she said he was in the box!! Well, he can't crawl in there so how did he get in there.... With a walker of course!!

Loving the walker, This was also his first time in the walker, so that was also a shock.

Preece Family Visits for blessing!

We had the awesome opportunity to have Josh's parents come to visit for Grayson's blessing. We knew they were coming for about a month or so, and were anxiously awaiting their arrival. Then the Tuesday before they came, they called and said they were no longer coming on Friday at seven, but Thursday around noon. And they were bringing an extra special package....Josh's brother, Nic!!

It was such a great surprise for Josh to have him there and we tried to live it up while he was here. We went to Coronado, Old Town, Belmont Park, and the Beach. Not to mention, they went to seaport village and Anthony's Fish Grotto without us. I only got pictures of our Belmont Park and beach day, but it was so much fun to show them around our stomping grounds.

Grandparents and Grandbabies!!

Hey mom!

I'm super happy or unsure!

Grandma K and the baby hanging at the beach, trying to block the sun and wind!! It was super windy and the girls refused to go near the water. It was really sunny and warm, but the wind was so chilly that it ruined the fun for Grayson's first trip to the beach.

Sadee loves laying in the sand!! She was in this position for most of the time.

Jayla trying out her new sand gear. She loved it!

I forced Josh and Nic to go swimming in the ocean! haha!! I wanted Nic to get the full experience of San Diego, and made him go boogie boarding! They had an awesome time.

Burying his girls!!

Bundled up against that darn wind! I even bought him a new swimsuit and rashguard, and couldn't get a picture because of the weather!!
