Get all Tangled Up!!

We decided to do a joint party for the girls this year. Their birthdays are only three weeks apart and they all have friends that are siblings, so we figured let's make our lives a little easier and invite everyone to one party. It was so much fun!! Here are lots of pictures of our fun day!

My wonderful sister-in-law designed these cute invitations for their party!

I would like to thank disneyfamily.com and supermom.blogspot.com for all the awesome ideas, and getting my own ideas flowing!!

The plethora of food:

From top left corner - snuggly ducking bubbling brew, rapunzel's tower, Maximus' apples, thug snacks served in frying pans, Atilla's sublime cupcakes, and the whole variety of food!!

The games:
We made paper lanterns, pin the nose on flynn ryder, color the town square (ok it was more like sidewalk chalk and the patio, but you get the idea.)

If you notice in the right middle picture, a cute little boy didn't understand the concept of pin the nose on flynn rider, and when we said put the nose on, he stuck it on his own nose!! I guess he's the winner!!

The pretty princesses!! I made these adorable crowns for them to wear, and they lasted about two minutes!! I didn't even get a picture!! Anyways! They received new bikes for their birthdays, and new dressup clothes as well!!

The most exciting part of the whole party was the unbreakable pinata!! Josh made a crown pinata for the girls, and he was worried that it would break to quickly so he made it extra tough. Maybe a little too tough!!
Sadee taking a swing at it!!
One of Sadee's many boyfriends taking a turn...

Jayla taking a swing at it!

Ok, how about another kid...

Alright, lets try the oldest....nope, not quite!!

Maybe a Papa can break it...

Or an uncle Jordan....

Or maybe a dad....

Uncle nick breaking the bat.....wrong thing, Nick!!

Let's try the other end....

Dollar store bat is now broken! Okay, fine lets use the metal bat!!

Success!!

After 14 kids, and 6 grown men, the metal bat finally took it down!!

Aunt Juju came all the way from Vegas, and did so, so much to help me out!! Phew!!

Those bikes are not for you boys!! Goodness!

That's how I felt after the party was done!! Why didn't I get the nap?? haha!!

Grayson's first taste of real food...

After a few bites, he seemed to be fine...
Another spoonful....

Yeah not so much...

Okay, another bite, just one more....

Yeah, nope, not working for me!! Try again, mom!!

Swimming Lessons

Jayla did swimming lessons this summer and loved them. I am so grateful because she has always been afraid of putting her face in the water. Even when we tried to get her to blow bubbles, she would just blow out of her mouth close to the water. She swims amazing with a life jacket, but without she wouldn't do it!! Thanks to an awesome teacher and very brave classmates, she made a lot of improvement!!

Sadee had a great time playing in the wading pool while we waited for Jayla!! Such a good sport!!

Grayson spent a lot of time in his stroller, but he was very content!! Thank goodness!

Preece Family Vaca

We had the opportunity during the first week in July, to spend time with Josh's family. Thank goodness heavenly father was looking out for us, because within two hours of leaving, our car started acting up and the O/D light started blinking like crazy. We took many stops to let our car rest, and somehow made it safely to Utah. While we were there, we had the transmission looked at, and turns out it needed to be rebuilt!! Awesome! We were without a car for the week and they ended up taking two weeks to fix it, so we had to drive my inlaws' expedition home.

We did have lots of wonderful moments even with the car problems. We spent a weekend in Heber at some cabins with all of josh's mom's extended family, lit a ton of fireworks for the fourth of july, and.....(see pics below)

Took family pictures
And no, this is not the best one we have...we are still waiting on the amazing photographer to work his magic.

Neither is this one!! goodness, be patient!! I will post the good ones later!!

Eating Cafe Rio!! OMG!! I miss this food already!! Yummo!!

Trying to get baby to sleep while looking fabulous!!

We spent a fun day at temple square....

And, no, Jayla was not in a bad mood in the picture. She was just terrified of Jesus!! Now this may sound bad, but I blame my husband for this one! I sat down to nurse a baby, and Josh went with the girls to see Jesus up close. He then told them that Jesus died and bad people didn't like him, and on and on. The next thing I know Jayla is coming over to me with terror in her eyes!! I think he gave her a little too much information for 4 year old to handle!! Sadee later told me that monsters killed Jesus!! Oh dear!!

Eating Mcdonalds! Love these faces!!

At Brigham Young's house!!

At the childrens' exhibit in the church history musuem!! So much fun and totally worth it. The kids will love every minute of it and there is something for kids of all ages to do.

We even spent a day with the cousins at wheeler farm. The kids all got a turn to feed the goats!! The funny part was my little nephew was given a otter pop for himself and then an apple for the goat. He decided to just eat both!!

Our quadruplets!! Everyone kept asking if these kids were twins!! We would of course reply, "yes, the boy and the girl in the hot pink are." Then people would reply back "no, I meant the other two blonde girls!" Oh, haha!! No, they are two years apart and yes, Jayla is ma petite belle!! Stop bringing it up!! She is going to get a complex or something!!

We had a wonderful time with cousins and family, and can't wait to see them all again. I forgot the SD card to my camera, so I am hoping I will get a few more pictures of our trip from my sisters-in-law!!
