Fall Festival and overcoming fears!

Jayla had another dance performance at a local church's halloween festival! After she performed, she insisted that she go down the big inflatable slide. She was so excited, stood in line, climbed to the very top, sat down, and PANICKED! She tried to go back down the stairs, but the guy running the booth, went up and pretty much pushed her down the slide. So funny!

Daddy trying to comfort her after her tramatic ride!
Josh showing off his golfing skills!
All things were made better for the girls, with their first tattoos!! They loved them!

Full Moon!

We were having some serious problems with getting Sadee to stay in her crib. A few nights we had to put her in a crib with a tent over the top. After she screamed for over thirty minutes, Papa went in to calm her down. This is how he found her.

Love you, Papa!

Way Behind in Blogging!!

I know I have been the worst blogger ever, but I had a very good reason for not keeping up with it.

After a whole lot of this....(And no, I did not look that peaceful.)
This included: lots of tv shows, over twenty books read, including Gone with the Wind, and over 3,000 solitaire-type card games played!
I finally had this....(Yes, he was worth it, I think!)

I can now sit at the computer for longer than two minutes without being in serious amounts of pain! So bear with me while I update you on our lives and everything that has happened since October!!

Oh, and if you are curious to how I had so much time on my hands, read the blog post below!

Sisters are lots of fun!!

When you have a permanent friend living with you, there are so many ways to have fun. These are some random moments of the girls being sisters!!

Coloring and probably a little tired!!

Hanging out in Papa's office!
He was flying home from a business trip and I sent him a text with this picture. He thought they looked so cute and then he realized where they were. I'm not sure he was so happy after that!

One evening, my mom and I were busy trying to get things done and the girls decided they wanted to set the table.
And yes, we did actually eat on these little plastic plates. We didn't want to ruin their good job!
Reading their scriptures!

Jayla wanted to dress herself one day and this was best she could do!! Love it!

Cute hats, and cute girls!!

Jayla's attempt at giving Sadee a piggy-back ride!!

Another Bump in the Road of Pregnancy!!

As some of you may know, my first trimester or more like first 18 weeks of pregnancy was a very terrible experience. I was super sick with lots of nausea and throwing up. When I started taking nausea medicine, I got terrible migraines that knocked me flat on the couch. Plus, during all of this, I got plantar faciaitis in my foot (pulled ligament on the bottom of my foot). Thank goodness for a wonderful mother who took good care of my children and me during this challenging time. What a blessing to be living in her house!!

Now for the fun part, when I was pregnant with Sadee, I got these terrible pains in my groin/crouch area about 30 weeks or so along. They started very mild and continued to get worse until I finally went on percocet for the last month of my pregnancy to survive. Not fun!! Well, surprise, surprise, the pains are back. They started a week or so ago, and they are much more painful to begin with!! On the days that I tried to tough it out, and go about my normal day, I was in such severe pain at the end of the day, I could barely walk!

I went to my doctor's appointment last wednesday, and told her about my pains! She explained to be that I had torn a ligament. Apparently, your pelvic bone is joined together by a ligament that can get stretched out due to pregnancy and can sometimes be torn. Now, of course this doesn't heal on its own and it only hurts when I am pregnant, due to the added pressure of a baby.

Solution: Moderate bed rest and no exercise, even slow walks are not allowed!

Translation: The couch will be my best friend, and I will gain lots of weight!! Awesome!!

The main problem is I can't stand for very long or it starts to ache really bad. I have to shower while sitting, do makeup and blow dry my hair from my bed, and I can't play with the girls, dancing and following them around anymore!!

I would really appreciate any new book ideas and projects to do while I am stuck sitting all day long!! I am only halfway through and the pain will get increasingly worse as the baby gets heavier and heavier!! The time spent on the couch will get increasingly more and more!!

Dancing at Poway Days!!

Jayla got to do another dance performance at Poway Days!! She had so much fun and did her best performance yet! I have to say though, when I was growing up, Poway Days was a big hit!! two baseball fields covered with booths and lots of fun things to do. This year there was maybe ten to fifteen booths. Very depressing turnout!!

Love those curls!! Gel is the trick to cute curls in Jayla's hair!!

The girls decorated cupcakes at one of the booths, after her dance performance!

We always have to have some treat after doing an amazing job performing...

or in Sadee's case, showing up to watch!

My other mommy and daddy!!

Jayla kept telling me one day that her mommy and her daddy were telling her to do certain things. I kept saying well I'm your mommy and I never said that. Finally, after arguing about her other mommy and daddy, she brought them out to watch a show with her!! Okay, those are your mommy and daddy bears!! haha!!She even slept with them one night along with half the stuffed animals in her room!

Too much fun with Nana and Cousins!!

Being so close to my brother's family and living with my mom means lots of fun to have with family!! Jayla and Sadee just love their cousins, and are stuck like glue together. The only downside is Sadee and Michael become the terrible duo - getting into my makeup, clogging the toilet with toilet paper and spreading toothpaste all over the bathroom!! (Don't worry, the bathroom doors are now locked whenever Michael comes to play now!!)

Such a cute face though!!
Jayla and Carter watching a slide show of pictures!!

Sadee and Michael love to push strollers together!

Nana and jayla dancing to the Ipod!! You can see the little black wire between them.
Playing Uno Attack, while learning numbers and colors!!

Take me out to the Ball Game...

My parents got tickets to the Padres game and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to see some baseball!! Okay, lets be honest, Josh couldn't pass it up! I could really careless, besides, the pretzels with nacho cheese dip!! Those were delicious!! It was a fun night out without the kiddies!!
Wow, thanks for the smile, Nick! and you two, well, I just don't know!

Deep discussion about who's on first, I don't know on second and what's on third!!

Cute girls!! Ready to be done with the game!

We love Joy School!!

Jayla started preschool this year and she has loved every minute of it. She has eight little friends and we all take turns teaching it. It has been lots of fun to plan and prepare the lessons when it's been my turn and so fun for her to go and socialize with new friends!
Her first activity on her first week of school!!
Showing off her backpack!!
