California, Here we Come!!

I have been wanting to show my friends in Utah, where I grew up. I convinced my friend, Tiffany, to come with me. We loaded up our four litle kids and took off for a week without our husbands. We convinced Julia to fly down and join us. Plus, Nick decided to tag along and bring his girlfriend, Shellie.
It was so much to show off my favorite place in the world. I miss every part of San Diego, and I am praying that someday life will work out and we will be able to return. I made a deal with Tiffany that we would spend only money on a few restaurants and do everything free in San Diego. We were able to accomplish everything we had hoped to do and it was alot of fun. Here's pictures of our fun vacation. Pause the music on the left to get the full effect of our vaca.
Jayla and Morgan couldn't stop playing with the McDonald's playset. If we only had a bigger house we would buy one.

The little kids getting ready for bed. Too bad we wouldn't let them stay all together.

Coronado and the Best Breadsticks Ever!!

We went to Coronado to see Hotel Del and enjoyed some lunch overlooking the beach, and then wandered through the hotel.
The kids eating lunch with Gramma. Morgan loved calling my parents gramma and papa. Tyler would call them jayla'a gramma and Jayla's papa.
Check out that view!!
Sadee content chewing on a water bottle
Beautiful flowers at the Hotel Del Lobby
Smell the pretty flowers
Nick looking Fabulous!!
We ended up parking a mile away from the hotel and it took forever to walk back. We would not have made it if Nick had not given the kids piggyback rides. Thanks nick!
Leaving the hotel
Fun Pictures while we ate at Oscar's. If you are ever in San Diego, don't miss out on these yummy breadsticks and even better dipping sauce. I am missing them already.
HUH??
My brother and his faces, oh dear.
I love this picture of Sadee. Such a cutie!!
Not sure who took the picture, but I think I look kind of cute.

Surfin' USA

We went to La Jolla Shores to enjoy the hot rays. It was alot of fun but my children are afraid of the ocean. Jayla especially hated the sand and would complain about it. She was content just sitting in a chair under the umbrella.

My dad took us to Tom Ham's lighthouse and paid for a babysitter to give us mothers a much needed break. We had so much fun and we tried all these new foods. We tried lobster, crab, halibut, salmon, and clams. I enjoyed everything but the crab. It was really gross.

Gramma and Papa with SadeeThe whole clan
Julia eating the lobster shell, Yummo!
Sadee was very content just eating pieces of bread and her puffs. Angel baby!

Let's go feed the ducks, plus other relaxing fun on Sunday!

We went to Lake Poway on Sunday and fed the ducks. Most of them were full, but we got the geese to come eat the bread right out of the kids hands.
Taking a walk around the lake!!
Nick and Shellie
I only got a picture of the geese eating out of my dad's hands
jayla ended up eating most of her bread instead of feeding it to the ducks
Playing on the slide
As we were getting ready to leave, i noticed my dad had disapeared. I found him playing with one of the playground toys. This is what he made.

We ended the evening with a fun game of hide-and-seek. My brother being the clerver boy that he is found the best hiding spot in all the house. After twenty minutes of every one searching for him, we finally got texts from him giving us clues of where to find him. Not sure how he fit in this little bathroom cupboard, but it was pretty funny.

Monday was a Fun Day!

We went to to tide pools on Monday to see what we could see. It was really fun. walking along the water's edge looking at hermit crabs, sea anenomes, and even a quick glimpse at a squid.
Sadee and I climbing up the rocks!

Nick and Shellie playing around

A cute photo-op. (Not sure, how we all ended up matching)

Jayla posing for the camera with the beautiful view

We also went to Legoland. Here's a secret!! The last hour is free, so we got to check it out without paying a dime. You can't cover the whole park but you can see some fun stuff.

Last day in San Diego - Belmont Park and the Temple

Fun pictures of our last day in Cali!!

We ended the trip with a short trip to the Temple and then Dinner at Claim Jumper's. Yummy, yummy food!!

Happy Easter!!

I know this post is almost two weeks late but we have been really busy these past couple of weeks. Here's pictures from our Easter Sunday.
Jayla and Sadee, rocking their new outfits!! So cute!

Grandma Karen doesthe best easter baskets for the girls, that we end up not buying them anything for easter. I know I am lazy, but as you can see they got plenty.

Jayla had a great time this year finding all the eggs. She ran around grabbing as many as she could. This is the first year that she really got into it.

Sadee just loved sucking on the eggs.
Josh at least helped her fill her basket, while she chewed on her egg.
