Thanksgiving Break!

The plan for Thanksgiving this year was to head to Utah to spend time with Josh's family. Since I was having such a painful pregnancy, we decided it was not a good idea for me to be traveling. Josh really needed a break and wanted to spend time with his family. After finding a good deal on flights, Josh decided to take the girls to Utah for a week and give me a week off!! It was a much needed break for me, but it was hard to spend a holiday without my family. Here's a few pictures of their fun week with Daddy!!

After the kids and Josh arrived at the airport, there ended up being a flight delay by about five hours. Poor Josh's first day without my help, he was stuck in an airport with two little girls. They did an awesome job and were actually very happy playing on the floor of the waiting area.
Eating breakfast with Papa Coy while watching TV!Enjoying the snow!
Helping shovel the driveway!!

There special beds for the week. This was Sadee's first time in a big girl bed! Thanks to daddy working on this transition, I didn't have to deal with it when she got back!

Thanksgiving dinner with their cousins, Ashlyn and Carson!
They had lots of fun and stayed up way too late with these little buddies!
They even got a visit from Santa while they were in Utah!!

Painting at Joy School!

When it was my turn to teach joy school, we did pudding paintings!! For anyone who has never done this, I highly recommend it! The kids loved it and they get to eat a sweet treat in the process.
Sadee probably put more pudding in her mouth than on the paper!

The funniest part of this day was this little boy on the right. He could not understand the idea of getting dirty and would only put one finger in his pudding. he kept repeating over and over again, "I don't think I can do this, I just don't think I can do this." Notice his friend has covered his hands and his paper in pudding!!

Jayla was only proper for a minute and then she had a party!

Heil Hitler!!

When Markers attack,
we turn into WWII dictators!!

We bleed Purple and Yellow!!

Once Josh found out we were having a boy, he tried to convince me to wear one of his vikings jersey for their Monday night game. Since I refused, his cute daughters were more than happy to represent.
Someday his son will be able to wear his favorite purple shirt too!! But his daughter will work for now!
