Now announcing Sadee Lilianna Preece!!

I finally remembered to bring the card upstairs! Here are some fun pictures of our newest little addition! She is about a day old in this picture.
Our newest family picture! The glazed look is from all the medicine.
Leaving the hospital. Finally! I wanted to leave the hospital so bad.
Jayla loves her new sister. She found Sadee's feet and was so excited.
Jayla always want to hold Sadee, and give her kisses and her binkie, whether she wants it or not.

We are hanging in there, but we found out yesterday that Sadee has Jaundice which means she has to be under the special lights until it goes away. She has to stay there for 24 hours a day, only to be taken off to be fed and changed. It's been a rough 24 hours with little to no sleep last night and lots of tears. Over-emotional me and hormones raging doesn't mix well with the stress of seing your baby laying on a little table. Here are some pics of Sadee laying on her little bed for the next couple of days.

Not so happy about her new situation.

The end of my sanity has arrived!

Just to let you all know. I was finally relieved of all the pain last Saturday, July 26th, when I was able to be induced.

Sadee Lilianna Preece was born at 2:52 p.m. on Saturday. She weighed 8 lbs. and was 20 inches long. We are both doing well and relaxing. I promise pictures are to come but I am still healing and walking all the way downstairs to get the card with all the pictures would be too much. Everyone is sleeping so I thought I would send out a little post.

Michael Clarke Preston has arrived!

Say hello to my little friend! My sister-in-law finally had her baby on Saturday, July 19th. (After being two weeks overdue and the doctor refusing to induce until next saturday.) She finally went into labor on her own. If he looks like a tank, its not the picture. He came out at 11 pounds, 3 ounces. I know what some of you women are thinking, Ouch! Surprisingly, she only needed one stich. Talk about a miracle. Both mom and baby are doing well, and home from the hospital. Just thought I would share.
What a proud daddy!! (That's my oldest brother!)
I will be induced this Saturday, so hopefully next week we will post pics of our new little one. My doctor is taking pity on me and letting me go a week early. Thank goodness! I will try to keep everyone updated.

Who are you? Who Who? Who Who?

This has to be the saddest blog I will ever post. For those of you who recognize that song as the title of my blog, then you will probably find this next sentence very saddening as well. I just recently received an e-mail letting me know that Gil Grissom from CSI: will be leaving the show. For those avid CSI fans, (especially you, Devrie), this is something that I am so sorry to hear and I hope you wil agree. Grissom makes the show so great and his little quirky comments are so wonderful. It was bad enough that we lost Sara Sidle, but now Gil. Who's next, Warrick? If you saw the last episode he probably already is. If Nick goes, I don't know if my CSI: days will continue. Katherine and Greg just aren't the stars of the show, sorry if anyone disagrees. We still have a few more episodes with the Grissom, so enjoy every moment.

Memories

My cousin did this on her blog and I thought it would be fun to see what memories people have of me. Follow the instructions below.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

It will be fun! Do it!

It's time to Build!

Since we are moving Jayla into the bigger bedroom, I decided I wanted shelves in her new closet. Having a talented husband who is good with wood-wroking, I put him to the task of building them. Thanks to the help of my brother Nick who is living with us right now, they completed the building process on saturday. Here are some pictures of it. If you would like some shelves built, I am happy to loan him out for a good price. hehe!

Before the building began...

Working hard
Or Hardly working. Holding cords is tough. Way to go Nick!
Jayla enjoying the new top shelf. Nick's idea, of course.
After it's completed. We have already filled it up. Well, Nick has at least.
Thank you Josh and Nick for all your hard work. It's so amazing!

Tribute to CirclePix Softball

Josh and his work buddies joined a softball league this summer. I missed most of the games because I had class. Apparently, Iam there good luck charm because they ended the season 3-13, or something like that. We went and saw them play their final game of the tournament on Tuesday so I thought I would show my support and attend. Facing the sun in with temperatures in the nineties, not so great for a pregnant girl, but we survived. Here's some fun pictures of Josh in his hot basebal pants. Way to go honey, even if yout team didn't do very well. Love you tons!

Jayla loved watching her daddy play and stealing food from the other kids. It was great!
Or she would tackle Uncle Nick. He came to support his favorite brother-in-law. So nice.

Life has been very busy!!

So in the past month or so we have been busy. I haven't posted much but I thought I would update everybody. At the end of may we spent memorial weekend with my parents in Cali. It was so much fun. Jayla loves being the center of attention and she loves playing with the fun toys that grandma Lou has.

She especially loves my parents grand piano with the keys that play by themselves. That was her favorite part.
Plus we got to eat yummy omelettes made by my dad. Isn't he such a handsome cook.
We also saw Julia and Nick play soccer. There's a pic of Julia and her boyfriend, Oscar. Isn't he a cutie?

Then we had a ward campout a few weeks later and Jayla wouldn't get out of the little camping chairs that a still a little big for her. We really need to get her her own chair.

The very next day my family came here and spent the week with us. Jayla obviously loves them to come and she was always willing to smile for the camera.

We got to attend a banquet at BYU in honor of our Great-Great-Great Grandfather, John Shelley. We ate these really yummy ice cream peaches. They looked just like a real peach.
After a long shopping day, Jayla still can't help smiling for the camera.

We spent fourth of July with my mom's side of the family and we had lots of fun. We went to a parade, went swimming, and played tons of games with all the cousins. Well, technically I spent most of the day on the couch but everyone else had a party. Jayla was worn out by the end of the day and of course I didn't bring out the camera until near the end of the day. At least I got pictures of her in her patriotic gear even if a smile wasn't part of it.

She's already rocking out to I-tunes. Crazy, i know.
My couch for the fourth of July. Gotta love it.

To end the weekend, my dad realized my feet were filthy and this pregnant belly just won't let me fully clean them. He decided to take a wipe to them and get off some of the dirt. Jayla wanted to join in the fun so here she is cleaning my feet. Talk about service.
