I decided to create a blog for all of my favorite recipes! Many of you probably don't know that I hate cooking. I guess I should really say that I hate taking a lot of time and spending countless hours in the kitchen slaving over the stove. I, also, do not enjoy using five hundred different ingredients for one dish and then taking forever to prep everything. I, also, have a super picky husband and a three-year-old who won't touch dinner. Trying to please everyone and still get a variety of food is not fun. But every time I go to a website for picky eaters or simple recipes, they aren't simple and my picky eaters won't touch it! I do not make up this recipes, and I will be perfectly honest about where they came from.

Now that I have vented a little check out my blog, lovetoeathatetocook.blogspot.com, and see my stress-free recipes. I am trying to add in desserts and salads and everything else I attempt to cook.

A Night Away! and I mean, All Night!

My dad had his annual planning meeting with the top dogs in his office for two days straight. Anybody that wanted to, could spend the night down at their hotel. Since Josh and my parents were going to be there already for the planning, they invited me to join them for the evening! My awesome brother, J.M., agreed to watch my kids for the night, so I could have a nice evening away! Nice dinner, hot tubbing, playing games, and room service equal out to a fabulous evening! Can't you tell my face!

First Day of....well, everything!

Start of a new year means lots of new happenings!!

Jayla started Primary and on the same day, Sadee went into Nursery! Plus, I became a primary teacher. And yes, tears were shed, but only because my class was a little much that first day!!

How did Sadee feel about this new change.... Whatever!!

Jayla was super excited, at least! I could hardly take a picture she was so happy. Since we both have sharing time together, Jayla constantly turns around and waves at me. But she didn't get upset or mad about having to leave nursery behind!

Okay!! Now Sadee is excited!! Sadee was awesome going to Nursery! She went right in and never looked back. We were actually really surprised because she has always been super clingy and unsure of strangers!!

The 1090 Gang! Back together again!!

On our last day in Utah, we drove down to our old neighborhood to see our favorite friends. We went to church in our old ward, met our renters and to check out our old place, and then had yummy dinner with our besties. We definitely miss them, but oh the fun we had while we were together!!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas!

Well I really wasn't dreaming of it, I was enjoying the "No Snow" policy that San Diego holds to. But we were missing family and friends, so we decided to give in to the freezing weather. It a HUGE sacrifice, but totally worth it. We loved being able to see our cousins and old friends!

This is the first year Jayla hasn't screamed bloody murder sitting with Santa!!

Sadee is ready to cry, but at least, we got her to sit there!

All I want for Christmas is....

While we were freezing in Utah, we decided to take a trip out to see Grandma Preece. We drove out to Vernal on Christmas day and had lots of fun with her and her black cat.

Sadee loved all of the animals around the house, alive and dead! She gave lots of kisses to the elk!

Jayla didn't find it quite as funny, but she wanted her turn!

Since it's the off year for my family, We celebrated Christmas a few days early at my brother's house. We had delicious homemade Lasagna by April and our favorite cheesy garlic bread for dinner. Then we unwrapped all the presents. It gets crazy with four kids and a dog, but we had tons of fun!!

When we told Jayla it was from Papa, she thought we met it was for him. So she took it to him and said "Here you go Papa, your welcome!!"
