Thanks to our good friends the Howcrofts, we spent the weekend in Vernal at a cabin in the middle of nowhere. I mean that literally too. Forty minutes outside of the town with twenty five minutes on a dirt road. It was beautiful and lots of fun. We got to roast marshmellows and hang out by the fire. We even spent the day driving on dirt roads checking out the beautiful countryside.
The 1090 gang hanging out by the fire. We were so grateful for Joriel's parents for letting us use their cabin for the weekend.
Jayla's first time roasting marshmellows. She wasn't really close to the fire but the idea of it was sure fun for her.
The boys spent a good hour trying to shoot cans and bottles with these guns.

Looking over at Flaming Gorge. We were on a little lookout stand high above this canyon of water. One of the little boys even peed over the edge. That picture is a little inappropriate for the internet. If you want to see leave me a message. hehe!

Hiking the trails all by herself. She fell alot but never wanted to be held.

The trip wasn't without its mishaps. Jayla fell within a hour of being at the cabin and sported a fat lip the whole weekend.

Eating lunch by a little stream.

We were unable to attend church on Sunday, but going to see the Vernal Temple made up for it.

Swinging at Grandpa and Grandma Preece's house. Check out that sunburn.

Too tired for words. Such a long weekend really wears this litle one out. At least it was a peaceful three hour drive home.

How fun. You guys look so happy. She is darling.
You went to Vernal without us!?! Souonds like fun though. It reminds me of some of our trips out in the middle of NOWWHERE that we take when we go out there. Looks like Jayla enjoyed every minute of it! Maybe we should take a trip out there together sometime. Go Vernal!
