I just signed up for this petition about a show that recently aired on Oprah and thought you would want to take action on this as well:

Provo Canyon Picnic
We went and hung up in the Canyon about a month ago and I just love all the pictures we got. I know I am a slacker in putting this up. Melissa and Alanna, our two favorite single gals, are in the pictures. Alanna is available!! hehe!! Melissa is Jordan's girlfriend. (the one in the blue!!) She's a cutie but taken!! Sort of!!
I don't know if any of you heard about the Byu student who went missing around Bridal Veil Falls. But we were there two days after she went missing! They later found her a half a mile from those falls. A little freaky!! and sad!!

Technology!! Blessing In Disguise!
Last week we took Jayla to her one-year-old doctor's appointment. We were so excited to find out how much she weighed so we could turn her around in the car. We were planning a trip to Vernal and three hours in the car is a long time for a child to face backwards. However, Jayla only weighed sixteen pounds, six ounces. She only gained six ounces since her last appointment.
You can only imagine my shock and despair thinking what a terrible mom I was and that I wasn't feeding my child. Plus, she has to be twenty pounds to be in a bigger carseat and to face forward. That meant the three hours to Vernal were going to be like he** for all of us. Never fear however. My good friend, Melissa, (also Jordan's girlfriend), offered us her portable DVD player with a contraption to transfer the sound to our car. We were saved!! We stuck it in the back window, faced it towards her and no peep was made the whole ride. Thank Goodness! The best part was I could pull down my visor and watch the movie through my mirror. You have got to love technology and my daughter's love for anything on TV!!
