Easter Fun!!

We had kind of a wild Easter this year. For some reason, the easter bunny forgot to stop by and drop off the kids presents during the night. After we got home from church, Josh helped the girls get out of their clothes, and out of nowhere, the easter bunny hurried and put their presents out and was gone before they could come back and see him!! They were so excited about all their new things that they totally forgot he didn't say hello!!
Okay, truthfully, we were catching the pink eye disease, and only Sadee and I ended up going to church, so the easter bunny didn't want to catch the germs either!! haha!!

Grayson showing off his first lollipop on his first easter!!

Ready to go find all the easter eggs!!

It was a very small searching ground, due to a insane amount of bugs in the grass this year. The bunny was not in the mood to go treaking through that grass. haha!! Don't worry the pest control guy took care of that for us!! Phew.

Papa John and Nana came over for dinner, and we got one of grayson's smiles on camera for one of the first times!!

The messes a child can make...

So after a few nights of rough sleep, my husband and I had the rare opportunity to sleep in. The girls were playing happily in their room and the little baby was sleeping. Church wasn't til eleven so we were enjoying some sleep. Too bad the happily playing little girls were stealing food from the kitchen and carrying it to their rooms!! This is the mess we found!!
Yes, those are spaghetti noodles, goldfish, three boxes of cake mix, a muffin mix, granola bars, a cornbread mix and some kind of spiral pasta!! All intermixed with their toys!! Talk about a nice sleep spoiled!! Served us right for thinking they would play nicely!!

In another one of those relaxing moments as a mother, this is what happened!! I was enjoying a session of conference and the girls were coloring with markers. Little did I know that one of the markers had gone bad and was attacking my poor daughter's face and hands, and the table and chairs of course!! Note to self: when the label says "don't leave children unattended," its not just for certain activities, its for all of them!!

Sleeping with Baby!!

A newborn baby means sleep is limited. The rumors are true, when baby is sleeping you should be too. Or in daddy's case, even when baby isn't sleeping!!!

I love this picture!! Daddy and Son both sleeping the same way!

New Place!!

After a year and a half of sharing a roof with my parents, we finally moved into our new place. When we first moved to San Diego, the plan was to live with them for a month or two while we found our own place. Well, we decided to stay a little longer to save money, and then I got deathly sick at the first of my pregnancy, and then was on moderate bedrest the end of my pregnancy. We were also trying to buy a home in Ramona, and even had the offer accepted, but the bank kept changing the terms and we finally decided it was the wrong choice for us. We decided to rent for a year or so and found this great house in Poway, in a ward filled with lots of young families. Here's some pictures of our first week in a new place! I took some "after" pictures as well, so you know we have made progress. It is very stressful to unpack, and take care of children at the same time.

This is the same view of the girls room. We moved the beds so they would be on the opposite wall of the window!!

Grayson's New Bedding!

It's still a work in progress but we are now officially unpacked!!

Just wanted to give a special thanks to my friend, Stephanie, for spending three hours with me unpacking my kitchen, and my parents for spending two evenings helping unpack, and buying groceries for our new place. Also, to my brothers for helping with the move and unpacking.

Debut into the real world!!

Okay, it was more like his first day of church, and my first day back in almost two months, but we had to take a picture of his stylish outfit!!
Close-up!
I was still getting ready, and I sent Josh to take these pictures. Not sure why he didn't turn the little dude's head!!
Sisterly kisses!!

Grayson's First Bath!

Grayson had his first bath and man, did he hate it!! The only time we really get him screaming is when we change his diaper or get him naked!! He absolutely hates being naked. Somehow, I got an angry face instead of a screaming one for the pictures.

Of course, the girls couldn't miss out on bath time with little brother!!
