Weekend Getaway in Coronado!

Thanks to my awesome parents, and my dad's cousin, we were able to get away for the weekend and leave the kids behind. My parents and my little brother watched the kids and my dad's cousin let us borrow his beach front home for the weekend! It was so much fun and a great break from life. Between being terribly sick and Josh working long hours, we were desperate for some time away!! We rode bikes along the beach, ate ice cream at hotel del, slept in, watched lots of movies and did lots of relaxing!!

Small twist of fate: as we were finishing a bike ride, we saw a family of five riding segways. Josh turned to me and said how fun that would be to ride one of those. As we watched them ride past, the youngest child hit a bump and sent her flying, hitting the pavement and skidding to a halt. I had Josh go check on her and offer up the bathroom so they could get her cleaned up. The mom and daughter decided to just go back to the hotel. The dad realized he had two segways and no way to get them back to the rental place. Yep, you guessed it, he asked if we would join them. So to end our weekend, we got to go on a tour of coronado island on a segway! So awesome!!

Sadee turned two in July! We decided to do a low-key party for her this year and just had her cousins come over for pizza, swimming, and cupcakes! We had a lot of fun, although as the sun went down it got a little chilly, surprising for the middle of summer!

Two is not enough....We are ready for number three!!

I finally gave into all the questions about baby number three and decided it was time to do the pregnancy thing again! I was putting this off for quite a while, but we want these little ones to be close together.

So if you haven't already figured it out, or haven't already heard, we are adding a new addition to our household this February. I am almost nineteen weeks and we are anxiously awaiting to find out what we are having. Two and half more weeks!! Such a bummer because our doctors office scheduled it way past what I would have preferred!! Very depressing to wait for so long!!

On the Road Again!!

We took a summer vacation to Utah this July! We had a Burtenshaw family reunion and we used it as an excuse to visit Josh's family. What fun we had with all of utah grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles!! We went to the Zoo, went boating, hung out with some of our favorite people, and saw lots and lots of family!!

On our way to Utah, we stopped in Vegas at a mcdonalds and saw our favorite Uncle Nick!! So happy considering it was eleven o'clock at night!!
