My older bro finally figured it out!!

My brother has finally found a girl to marry him, and she was well, worth the wait. Nick sent my mom and I a text, the day he planned on proposing and asked us to prepare  the setting for the proposal.  They were driving down from Vegas to celebrate New Year's Eve in San Diego. She had been expecting something to happen that weekend, so Nick just wanted to get over it. I cut hearts out of paper sacks, and placed candles inside, and lined the walkway with them. Then we sprinkled rose petals all the way. My little brother set-up speakers and music to play when she came out the front door. Nick was hiding and Jayla was able to stay up late and give Alia a note from Nick. After she read the info, Jayla said "Will you marry my Uncle Nick?" So cute!!

To start off the christmas festivities, Sadee had a joy school party. They performed the nativity story, sang songs and we ate yummy treats.

Santa's Village

We went and saw Santa this year with some of our favorite friends, the Sawyers and the Northcutts!! This wonderful couple opens up their home every year and let's Santa take over. We went last year and waited in line for over an hour. Thank goodness this time it was only 15 minutes or so.

He is now a crawling machine, he was trying for over a month to get the crawling going and I thought for sure he would have it by halloween, but it didn't quite get there. He did get the hang of it soon after and is getting places very fast and I am barely able to walk out of a room before he follows or disappears!

He loves real food! He will eat whatever I put in front of him and is growing bored with baby food. It is really nice to feed him all the leftovers in the fridge and he doesn't mind the browning bananas. haha!

Getting him to laugh is still a struggle, but if he gets thrown in the air, or hangs upside down and you tickle his tummy, you are sure to get a few laughs!!

Moments that matter most....

Grayson was not feeling very good one evening when the whole family came over for dinner, and Papa John was the only one who could keep him asleep. Jayla ended up coming down with a fever that night as well. Love this snuggle time!!

Watching a movie with daddy in their princess tent. They love doing this with daddy, and we let them sleep all night in it.

Another one of those sick nights....and he looks oh so sweet in daddy's arms!!

First Bath with all three kids!! The girls would not leave their brother alone, and he wouldn't stop splashing. Didn't work very well, but it made bathtime a little faster.
